I am afraid I have slipped back in to being a smoker, I have got a new 5 weeks supply of patches today, but need to get myself back in the right head space to quit again.
I will be back, and I will continue to check on my quit buddies here, stay strong everyone.
Talk to you soon... from day 1 lol

So sorry to hear that Mixxy - have had a blip myself recently, so I do sympathise entirely with you - as everyone says, we are here when you are ready hun, all the best, take care, with much love and a hug Vivienne xxx
Everyone of us can so understand your situation. I myself had a drag and if I had another drag I would have started again, as it is just so bloody easy.
PS - You have nothing to be sorry for, I think the stats show on average it takes 4 attempts. xx
Whoopee ... this is my 4th attempt!! Sorry to jump on the bandwagon ... just felt like that was good news!!
It will take you as many attempts as it takes - don't be hard on yourself ... this one feels like the hardest attempt I have ever had but perhaps because I realise now it is the one I really mean. The fact that we keep trying means we really want it ... with each attempt we are a little more prepared for wha t to expect and hopefully a little more ready to take it and overcome .... See you when you are ready xxx
Hope your able to get in the best place to start your quit again very soon
I personally don't think there is a 'right' place for your head to be, just a place that's feels as good as you can feel it at that moment in time......... feel that moment come along and go for it
Given the last couple or so months, your 'head and it's place' deserves a medal
Dont beat yourself up over it... these things happen.
We've all blipped, so don't be thinking of yourself as a failure ok?
Thing is over the last couple of months you've had more to deal with than was ever fair for a lady so lovely. (((hug)))
get into the right mindset and then jump back on your quit my love.... Its not as difficult as the first time when you've only been doing it for a little bit.
Good luck for your next attempt. sorry you slipped back to listening to the demon again, but build up your determination now and hit right back at him.
I won't use the word "blip" because I think that expression undermines how serious this is. You've become a smoker again. That's not "just a blip" and I feel for you, I really do.
However, I think it takes a lot of guts to openly admit that. I'm terrified of having just one puff because last time I did that, 2 years ago, it cost me another 10,950 cigs before I could stop again. Please don't leave it as long as I did. You'll have all the support in the world when you come back here.
Sorry to hear you are struggling. I think it might be a good idea for you to be more active within the forum, it's definitely a good way to help you stay stopped, lots of encouragement from friends who understand and that good feeling that you could be helping someone else.
