Day 11 - yeeaaahhh!

Made it to day 11 - feeling very proud of myself.

Just popped in to my ex mother in laws to drop something off and came out with my clothes stinking of smoke - GROSS - I must have smelt like that 11 days ago!!!

Just going to get changed now!!!

Hope all the FabFebs are ok today (and everyone else!!)

You are doing so well and I think it’s good you are now realising how much we stunk when we smoked, dirty ashtrays were something I didn’t like when I smoked so absolutely hate them now, and I can’t believe that I smoked in my car huh was I completely brain dead.

You are doing amazingly well so don’t be coerced into smoking again in fact you are in a strong position now to stay quit for life.

Plenty of cold cold water is good I found I was drinking 6/7 glasses a day and I really think it helped.

I am sorry that I didn’t notice your thread till now but keep reading and talking and we will always be there to get you through any slightly bad days which you want have Will You LOL

Congrats on getting to day 11! - Well done you!!

I found this out recently, went visiting my relatives, and all 3 smoke in their lounge and i would never say owt as i'm not gonna be that horrible ex-smoker who goes 'cough cough' at them...

anyway, when i got out of the house and into my car, i really noticed the smell of the smoke had stuck to my wooly jumper and it was really pungent

Funny how the sense of smell changes when you quit, but it does help you stay quit too.

I find i get headaches now if i'm in the same room as smokers anyway, so try not to stop too long.

It seems to smell completely as a non-smoker. It's weird.

I went round my girlfriend's parent's on Day 3, who smoke in the house, and it was horrible. Not looking forward to going round their again.

11 days done and dusted that's great well done isn't amazing how quickly we notice the stink on others when they smoke yet never noticed ourselves

I cant say iv begun to smell smoke on people yet but im only on day 7
