with intention to stay off...
off the wagon.: with intention to stay off... - No Smoking Day
off the wagon.
as your post barely got past the minimum post length :)... but your post makes it sound like you have started smoking again as most folk use the term on the wagon when they are giving something like this up? I looked it up anyway and 'on the wagon' originally was for drinkers who had decided to drink only water as in 'on the water wagon'
I'm sure you meant 'on', just wanted to make sure
Anyway, all that aside hope you are quitting, its the best thing you can do with regard smokn.
arghh
that is what i meant...got it wrong.. what I meant is that it is our day 1...
sorry for confusion.
Where am I on the road to smoke free think I need a fagnav
Hi Ben and Sioban
I thought the same, in fact I thought that was the
World Record quickest quit ever, glad you got it mixed up LOL
This site is bril you want regret joining so have a great quit
Heres my Poem to help as a Mantra
I’m really glad that you’ve quit
Cause in the past you’ve smoked some sh**
Smelly Hair Hands and Breath
Shorter Life but longer Death
Up the hills you’ve got no puff
Smokers cough that makes you rough
So pass each day without the weed
Cause only then will you succeed
So Bravo to all that now don’t smoke
Cause early Death is sure no Joke
xx
the main thing is your quit (both), so the very best of luck to you.
(wasn't splitting hairs with you over wording, just wanted to make sure so i didn't type a post that had no relevance )
incredible
when i typed our post yesterday, i never thought that we would get any reply as i was just making a statement. the intense feeling of support and warmth i got when i read your replies and encouragement.. many many thanks, you have made my morning of day 2 an absolute pleasure..
Wecome, and hang in there, just get through today without a smoke. have a look at some of the links at the bottom of other posts, read as much as you can, the better you know your enemy the more chance you have beating the little bugger to death
Good luck
Mark
Well done!
You're doing great already - day 2! Just take it one day at a time and be nice to yourself (and each other? I'm presuming you are two people!).
There's a lot of encouragement to be found here, just read through the posts if you can and keepe reminding yourself why you are here.
Good luck and well done!

Hiya Ben and Siobhan, good for you on quitting, now, instead of going on the wagon, why not get in it with us, less chance of falling off. David
