OH DEAR.....I can remember feeling like that about a month into my quit:rolleyes:....god I am so glad I stiuck to it because I am much healthier, I look better(I THINK), I SMELL better, I am richer in more ways than just money.....it is so so worth it
Are you still on the champix????? Maybe you need to see your doctor or nurse and explain how you are feeling....just a thought........hope you feel better soon
You'll be fine, Littleoleyou.... first month quitting is crap and we all felt that way, truly! Almost broke down at the end of my first month but I'm glad I didn't as it got much easier soon after..... you are doing the right thing.... yes, it is hard but life will not just get back to normal, it will get better, way better.
It helped me to remind myself that I smoked because I had to..... each time I craved (which was every hour of each day) I HAD to get my fix.... over time I trained myself to think fags were enjoyable and helped me deal with life. All of that is bull.... you smoked because you had to, that's it. Now you're freeing yourself from that addiction and you'll have to cross some hurdles... the good news is, your body and mind will recover relatively quickly.... so be patient with yourself and stick with your quit. bella xx
