4.5 whole days and feeling very proud

Hi all,

Feeling great, strong and positive today after a really bad day yesterday.....

I had strong cravings most of yesterday until around 5.30pm and then I was rushed off my feet keeping busy and believe me it did the trick and kept my mind off the ciggies. Cannot believe that I dreamt I started smoking again last night, how bizarre, they really must have been palying on my mind yesterday. So far I have found day 3 the worst by far but that's gone now.

Day 3 over with, that should feel really good. One of the dreaded 3's dealt with.

You sound really positive today, hold on to the good feelings when you are having the not so good feelings.

I have not had a smoking dream for a while now, but they can be very real. Did you feel really happy when you realised it was only a dream?

If you are using your patches during the night that can make the dreams worse, I stopped them at night and had no more bad dreams.

Hi Sharon you're doing great girl, day 3 out the way. Remember every day that passes is progress and you are progressing well.

When I first stopped I remember I had a dream I had smoked a cigarette while I was walking along the road. In my dream I started crying because I had forgotten I had stopped and had had a fag. I think I had a similar dream the next night, I'm not using patches or anything so it's probably when you go to bed thinking how great you are for not smoking.
