My name is Sarah, I'm 36 with two children and decided to quit once and for all, and have done so far with the help of those magical tabs
However, I decided to stop taking them two days ago after nearly 10 weeks as no matter when I took them or how much I ate or how much water I drank, they made me feel as sick as hell
I am confident that I have kicked this terrible habit, however I'm worried how being off the tablets will affect me; but I can't cope with feeling so sick all the time!
Did anyone else feel more sick as time went on with them? And once you stop, do your cravings kick in with a vengeance? I'm asking for support as I desperately don't want to start smoking again....
I will try and give as much support to my fellow quitters too.
Much love and luck guys xxxxxx

Well done on getting to the third month! I assume by tablets you mean Champix..... have no experience with it but I don't think you stopping them will make craves worse...... you've done real well so far and you must continue to work on reprogramming your thinking..... reading lots about your addiction will help massively. You're in month 3? Here are some links to read up about the terrible threes's...... you hang in there, it gets much easier soon, okay!
Well done you getting to the 3rd month that's great I'm guessing you mean champix was what you used ??
I also used champix to help I didn't have the sick feeling as bad as you did and ut soon passed for me
However I did stop taking them at 8 weeks [6 i/2 weeks smoke free] as I kept forgetting to take them for 2/3 days at a time and no I didn't have any craves after I stopped them at all so as you took it for almost 10 weeks you should be just fine don't woory about it OK
You may get the odd fleeting thought but that happens for most of us usually when doing something for the first time since you quit
As Bella says read and learn about the addiction we all have
