Think I have totally wasted the whole day. But I have successfully wasted it without a ciggie
No worries, Smokey Bear.... it's part of the process..... things may be off a bit for a while..... crazy dreams, waking up at night, feeling spacey, being emotional, pissed, grieving, etc...... truly, in no time all these symptoms will fade into your past. You have to get through these tough times in order to see and enjoy the benefits of your quit. Some get there sooner than others...... it's all about your attitude. Stay positive, don't waste your time thinking 'what if' or 'if I could just have one'...... you have everything to gain and you'll gain nothing if you go back. Stay on track...... it's the right one!
Welcome to the forum!
Hi Smokybear
Oh dear but not to worry we all have that at the beginning if a quit but it will pass Promise
It doesn't matter that you wasted the whole day something else I think we all do/did it only matters that you didn't smoke well done
Love
Marg xx
You made me smile Smokey Bear! You had energetic early days? They passed me by! I thought this morning that having to keep saying no to the sub conscious thought, I need to smoke, is exhausting! Its certainly very distracting and I'm even more absent minded than normal, sometimes not remembering until the next day something I was just about to do and forgot to do!
We will get there - everyone says it gets easier and I'm sure it will - just the journey is a bit tedious at times. I would like to say to my nico monster "sod off" - oh! are we allowed to swear on here? Love Vivienne xx
Thanks for your support.
I presume it is early morning in Australia. I don't know if you are going to have some time to yourself in a while or if you have to leave the house. I think you should a nice hot bubble bath or better yet a massage. Treat yourself as soon as possible. you are worth it. Hang in there.
Thanks SS, gotta get kids up and ready for school. But feeling great this morning.
Hi Smoky Bear
Good to hear your feeling great this (your) morning. *shakes own head at Stumpy 5 hrs or so behind and Smoky at 8 hrs (?) ahead*
I hope your day goes well and your quit stays strong
Have a good one:cool:

Hi Glad you're feeling better. There are many ups and downs on this rollercoaster. But over time the downs become less frequent and less strong and the ups become the norm.
Hang on in there
