Really  You know, it's totally okay to request that she not do that........... doesn't matter how much you smoked before, you're quitting now and you need your wife's support. I'm sure she would want to be supportive! :confused:Otherwise, I recommend the couch!!
Hi Jimbo
You're doing great well done keep it going
I think your wife is being selfish smoking in bed to say nothing of the dangers in that
OK you used to smoke as well but now you've stopped
You say you don't want to moan but surely asking her not to smoke in bed is not [to my mind at least] moaning after all it's your home as well as hers
Maybe she doesn't realise how hard it is for you just now so just ask her to stop it surely she could have that last couple of fags before coming to bed at least for a few weeks and who knows once she breaks that dangerous habit she might never do it again
Love
Marg xx
I agree with the others Jimbo, it has to stop. My husband still smokes but he goes outside no matter what the weather, for all of them.
Well done on your quit.
Jackie
My oh still smokes (loads!) but as I finally admitted I'd stopped (long story!!), the last few days he has generally refrained from doing it in bed. To be honest, even f you're a smoker, it's not nice to have your bedroom all smoky! Must be worth asking her, in the nicest possible way, if she could have her last fags in the lounge? Or kichen or wherever. Maybe she would start to appreciate how much nicer it is to sleep in a smoke free room. Worth a try!
Jimbo very well done still being smoke free how long now? I agree with the others its not much to ask that she dont smoke in bed. So pleased to say my oh is trying to quit again and is back on day one.xxxx
Hi Jimbo. I had a quiet word at the OH for smoking at the back door in week 1 (more like a full on withdrawal moan :mad ; when you smoke you just don't realise what the smell is like and how it travels through the house. We never were fans of smoking indoors due to having a young family.
You must have great willpower to be able to refrain with the OH right next to you so very well done indeed.
