patches and minis

Hi and thanx for the warm welcomes. It certainly is cold outside. I have been using the patches and minis. So far so good. I still get bad cravings but, can beat this. At 12 tonight it will be 32 days not that Im counting lol!.

I stopped 13 oct and am in my 60 year been smoking on and off for over 40 years.

I am pleasesd with myself even just launched a very small bussiness.

Keep it up and you have done it once and you will do it again.We cannot afford to go back.

Yes Snow I have to admit that yes thats me on Tesco's car park, but sadly not this year it was Christmas Morning 3 years ago when I was a smoker if I dare say that, and what was I doing Christmas Morning in Tesco's car park???? buying cigs, NO JOKING I was collecting my KP as she could'nt walk in all the snow.

Hi

Thanks for welcoming me. Im on day 32 and am still getting quite bad cravings, is this normal? Some of my mates recon that they stopped craving after about a week. I know everybody is different but, it seems to be getting slightly worse. (Could just be me imagining its getting worse, not sure).

I also have a raised rash where my patch was about 4 days ago. It almost feels asif its been burnt. Has anyone else experienced this? :confused:

I have also gone to the shop to buy cigs on christmas day. I was totally obsessed with them in the end. My day totally revolved around my next fix. I started smoking at the age of 11 unbeknown to my mum.

I like the snow but, hate it when it turns into ice. It would my absolute nightmare to have to drive on ice. I just point blank refuse to drive in these weather conditons.:eek:

Need to update my signature. My computer is being very tempramental atm. Musnt grumble though bcoz I have only just got the signal back after 6 days on my dongle. Was looking at lemsips post. Tried to post congrats to lemsip but, it wouldnt let me. So thought Id put it here instead: Well done Lemsip!

It inspired me to work out how many I havnt smoked 1280. I bought myself a games console with the intension to try and keep fit, with the money I saved. Will let you know.

It's amazing how quickly the amount of money saved mounts up. Fantastic that you bought something useful. I seem to have gone the other way and just have bought loads of ingredients and rediscovered my love of cooking..not good for the waistline but hubby and kids love it

I don't know about the patch as I'm on Champix (my willpower wasn't good enough with the patch last time :o), but I'm sure one of the others would be able to help. If not, just pop to see the nurse just in case you are allergic (I doubt it after the time you've used them for, but you never know).

Anyway just wanted to say, think you're doing fab xx
