When I first starting reading the posts on this site (one of my motivators in quitting in the first place!), I was quite shocked to hear that people were halfing their meds without the approval of their doctors . . . well, I am not so shocked, now! I've just made the decision (and it feels right) to go to one tab on the Champix. I am getting pretty frustrated that I can't get pleasure out of wine, s£x, or most anything else! I realise that this is probably Champix doing it's work, preventing that 'buzz'. But, I am going to end up a fat alcoholic (and not even enjoying it!!) if I can't shake this dull feeling soon. So, here we go! I am very small, so I figure that I am being OD'd on the 2 tabs, anyway!!
have a great week. going to visit family for the next week and don't know if I'll be on the forum. taking my first transatlantic WITHOUT the fags. can't wait!! no panics, no chain smoking outside the airport, etc.

I think your making a good decision based on how your finding things are making you feel, or not feel :). I had an inkling, based on reads here about Champix, that smaller/petite folk may be effected by Champix more but Lorna threw that thought out the window.
Anyway, follow your instinct and listen to your bodies needs, your most likely over the worst cravings etc, so cutting down now, even if it means upping your will power and positivity, I think, is a good thing.
Sounds like your almost ready to go it along
When do you fly out? Hope your heading somewhere with a little better weather?
Thanks for that. Ok, well even if it's not my size, it's definitely my brain that needs less! If I don't, I think clawing my eyes out is next!!
Fly out tomorrow. No, omg, not better weather. Usually go this time of year and have to cross fingers that we are not going to be delayed in or out due to snow!
Have a great time and enjoy the flight without the stress of wanting a cigarette.
I don't think you'll have any problems cutting down the Champix. I went to one tab a day (half in morning and half at night) earlier in the quit than you and had no adverse reactions - and felt much bwetter to be on a reduced dose.
