Well done deciding to kick the fags and day 17 is great
Last year I enjoyed my first smoke free Xmas for many years and it really was a good time without having to keep going out for a fag [I was at my non smoking daughters] and other yeats had to keep nipping out arghhhhhhhhhh
Below is my standard welcome and advice post which I try and give all new members

Great to see you into your 17th smoke free day, brilliant and you have your own Advent Smoke Free Calendar too
I'm sure that Turkey dinner will taste wonderful
I'm very much enjoying the fresh natural smell of my home and clothes too. Except when my mum visits and smokes the conservatory out with her stinking JPS's. As for keeping any additional weight off . . . . nice one:cool:
Keep up the great work and keep those days adding up
I quit smoking last october 2008 , being smoke free for xmas was brilliant!!
I savoured every part of the day ....best bit was actually tasting the meal and the wine and not planning the whole day on when i could get a fag in , which was the case in previous years...didnt wanna visit certain people as i knew i couldnt smoke in their house !! << pathetic looking back but its what i thought at the time.
You are on day 17 which is brilliant , you must keep this up and take each day as it comes ...dont become complacent and you will have this smoking thing licked
