Getting nervous now, I made it to day 5 on my last quit and then caved in a big way. I really need to make it to the first week and I'm on my way. I find day 1,2 and 3 much easier than the rest as I think I'm being lulled into a false sense of security.
Anyway, hit the swimming last night, bit the bullet and joined a Yoga class (starts tomorrow) to help curb my raging temper!! Dreading Yoga as I'm the most unco-ordinated person in the world and I just know its going to be full of flexible Grannies who'll put me to shame.
Lots of day 4's around today so well done everyone!!!

Just get through each day as best you can, your doing well and you have joined some groups that should take your mind off it. Remember to come on here if you have any cravings, once you have typed something out or read something the craving should have gone. There is always someone around.
Well done on getting to Day 4, by now the nicotine is out of your system so the only thing you now have to conquer is habit and you can do it.
It's PMA thats getting me through this. Had to force myself to get up and do stuff I didn't do as a smoker like the swimming and Yoga to try and break the habits and chain. Instead of feeling sorry for myself because I'm missing out on the cigs, I need to fill my "new" life with things that make me feel good!
you go girl - and remember that buying yourself something as a treat is very rewarding and as most people on here will tell you I always say SHOES, they are great. Everytime you get a craving you can look down at your feet, see your new shiny shoes and say mmmmmmm I bought you with the money I usually give to the big wigs at the cigarette factory.
I mentioned they because I'm not greedy, 2, perhaps 3 would be nice if well trained and obedient. Lovely cute puppy dogs are fantastic to stroke and have shiny noses
Forgot all about my cravings, you kept me so busy!! Heres two that we fostered a while ago, lovely shiny noses and gorgeous to stroke. (I didn't keep them in the cupboard though)
