I'm living in Wonderland. Nothing has seemed real for the last 20 hours or so. This increase of oxygen to the brain is certainly doing some strange things to me.
In these waking dreams I'm having fits of uncontrollable laughter; two second bursts of happiness; dirty red anger; shivery shakes and above all else the desire to smoke. Been here once before though, many years ago. I fell on day three so I know tomorrow will be my test. Still, if this delerium continues I might not even notice day three.....

Just wanted to chip in and wish you all the best for your quit. It matters not how you quit, just that you are comfortable with the method and that it works for you.
The very best of luck with your day 3 and indeed your visit to your friends tonight, sometimes, staring the temptation in the face can be therapeutic but don't take any unnecessary risks.
Good luck once again, hope you achieve the success you seek.
Just a quick update. Went out last night and didn't smoke. Really cannot believe it. Before I'd even left the house I was doubting whether I'd be able to do it. First night in over fifteen years that I've been out and had a drink and not smoked.
I'm a 'day 3er' now. This is where I slipped up last time I tried to give up a few years ago. Feel sure I can make it through today though.
Also well done going out and having a drink this early in your quit and staying smoke free Big hug for that just hang in t here it really is doable and so worthwhile
well done you, and how positive you sound, so let me get this right by tomorrow you will already be on the 4-7 days and well on your way to a week, that is fantastic.
Keep up the positive mental attitude, and of course keep posting.
