Headaches !!

How horrible - not that this will make your headache go away !! but I am NOT a headache person at all in " normal " life - but I have had a headache every day since I had my last ciggie - it is quite clearly a withdrawal symptom and not pleasant at all !! I am longing for my body to come to terms with no cigarettes and starting to deal with its own blood sugar level - I am permanently light headed - oxygen levels and blood sugar - did you know that when you lit up your body immediately took sugar from the body's store - now no fags - so one needs to rely on food which of course takes at least 20 minutes to digest and therefore put sugar into the store cupboard !! Apparently the body will adjust given time and start compensating for no cigarettes until then I guess I must eat a little and very regularly - have started having a banana first thing and will work away from there and see if it helps - Day 6 for me today - good luck my friend

Yes the sugar dips can be a real problem. I make up a small water bottle with ribena in it and sip it during the day. Infact I get through about 3 a day. Seemingly juice is very good cos it gets sugar into your body quicker than food. I've certainly found it helps.

Thanks for the tip

Thanks - will try that - very difficult trying to work when I feel fuzzy in my head !! I am sure it will stabilize eventually !!!!! Keep positive - I was the closest to quitting quitting last night that I have been so far !!
