Didn't think I would get here, but I have. On my 8th day without a cigarette and feeling good
The big test will be tomorrow and Wednesday. As I am staying up in London for work and have several meetings to attends, plus dinners etc in the evening.
I know for a fact there will be people around me who will be smoking.

Huge well done on getting to week 2, you are now over the worst so it should start to get easier now. Never let down your guard though.
I have found being round smokers has made no difference to me at all, take comfort in knowing that every mile stone will make you stronger You can do it and will do it.
You should relish the challenge of having a tricky couple of days. I'm sure you won't have any problems having got to day 8. You KNOW you don't need to smoke anymore - it's a pointless unnecessary thing to do.
You will feel great when you have got through these tricky situations without having to rely on the fags - it is very liberating and very good for your self-esteem and self-confidence.
Hey, well done on getting here, cherish that feeling at let it spur you on for the rest of your quit!. Regarding being around other smokers, obviously it's going to be a test for you, but you should take pride in the fact that you are now an EX-smoker, and that you won't smell of smoke and have dodgy teeth!
Well done webon your quit so far. Enjoy your trip to london and stay out of the cold then you will not be near the smelly smokers. Just remember you do not smoke. xxxxxxxxx
