i have had a good day today unlike yesterday, i woke up and left the house to get to work about 8ish only realised i had left my lozengers at home, i kinda pannicked but to tell you the truth didnt last long as soon as i got my self stuck into my work then everything was ok, i did crave but they came and went. im actually thinking about going cold turkey from now im sure i can do it but im not sure if i should stay on the lozengers for now, any suggestions?
p.s. thanks to everyone who got me through yesterday x

I went most of the recommended course on lozenges but on reflection, I think I was using them as Dutch courage. When I did come off them it was a bit weird for the 1st 3 days then in the 2nd week I got strong urges for nicotine (I felt like I either wanted to smoke or have a lozenge) but by the end of that week I was no different than I had been before.
If you can manage 72 house off the lozenges you will no longer have nicotine in the system, you will eventually have to do that. If you stop the lozenges and cant cope you can always go back onto them, but what is important is that whatever you choose you remember that cigarettes are not a viable option.

Hi Sourlink
I would keep them handy just in case you feel you need them until the time comes when you can think okay I haven't had any urges to have one in a while I think I can leave them alone now. That's what I did when I used the inhalator. I have still got it and occasionally, like now, put it in my mouth but I haven't actually puffed on it. At the moment I am chewing the end of it.
Probably won't be of any use to me at all by the time I've finished chewing it. hehehe:D
All the best and well done on getting through a week. Four days behind you
