Hello and well done everyone... My Hubbie and I gave up after new years eve and are both now on day 3.
Ive been cold turkey the whole time not even a sniff but unfortunatley hubbie had a 2 at work yesterday but none since and is hoping by the time he goes back on Monday he'll be stronger, fingers crossed for him!
Ive quit a couple of times before by reading Allen Carrs books which I found were great and to be honest only started again by my own fault, not by desperatley needing a ciggarette but by fooling myself that after 7 weeks Id cracked it and could happily be a 'social smoker'...lol please anyone dont ever be fooled by that one.. it really doesnt work and is nothing to actually enjoy anyway, Id rather be smelly free, feel healthier and be wealthier too..
Im feeling like I really want one and have a pack with 17 in it in the kitchen drawer but I will refrain, thought if I come on a chat forum the support we get from eachother will help me more, hubbie just laughed when I said I was doing this and said to ask 'can he have a fag?':mad: no he cant can he!
Good luck all we can do this!

well done to you and your hubby for deciding to quit (but tell him no more sneaky ones if he really wants to quit.)
I too started my quit with the help of Mr Carr But what i found helped even more was reading as much as possible on whyquit.com, as that helped to totally reinforce my quit.
Congrats to you and hubby.Well done on getting to day three the first few days are the worse and things improve very fast. there is a few of you on day three so you are not alone and you will get tons of support on here. look forward to getting to know you. xxxxx
