Hello every body,

At last I 've reached month two.

Yesterday afternoon, I loged in to the forum but IE said that the administrator had banned my IP. What happend? What was my fault? Was that the joke I told StuardH?

I don't know - but I don't think you were banned on purpose, probably a mistake as they were trying to ban a spammer or something.

Could you tell me if this ban was issued with this user name? This would help me get to the bottom of this problem you have experienced as this should not have happened, you have done nothing to warrant a ban and I am very sorry for any upset this may have caused you

Does the site let people use two user-names on the same IP address then? that means somebody could be a angel and the devil at the same time.

This has happened in the past as you are very aware Phil, having moderators has helped to eliminate this problem

Seriously, why does almost every single post you make have to be a very thinly veiled attempt at provoking some kind of argument?

I'm honestly curious. Something must have happened to you to have created this need. I suspect no one in real life listens to you, no one is interested in your point of view? Perhaps we can help, do you feel like chatting about it?

Indeed my post was out of order, carl. It was intended to be uncharactaristically out of order. You see, my point is that you try to pick fights constantly - even if you have to deliberately misinterpret other peoples posts to do so.

That is the first and only time I have done it.

Moderators/admin:

In the interest of fairness, please feel free to delete the earlier post I made, this one and to issue me with a warning/ban should you see fit. However, the only reason I am plumbing these depths is that I am fed up with carl's constant attempts to provoke arguments on these forums - which I have found incredibly useful so far on my quit. I would like them to remain as they are for myself and for other users - if I found them useful, I have no doubt others will.

I will now leave this thread alone, place carl back on "ignore", return to my normal character set and await any notice from mods/admin regarding my behaviour on this thread.

Stuart, Carl, your posts are getting quite personal against each other now.

Stuart, it did appear to be out of your usual character, maybe frustration has led you to write what you did, but can I ask that in future you reserve them views.

Carl, your attacks are getting other members aggravated and a lot of posts are being reported as a result.

Therefore, Stuart and Carl can I ask for the sake of others you do not air such personal views openly.

Remember this forum is here to serve as a resource for people to aid stopping smoking.
