psssssssssssss....you wanna know something????? i tink i've made it,i tink i've made week three,i'm on day 26....but................alas,i did something real bad tonight,i went out side after getting a threatening text from my ex husband,and had a crafty three puffs of a demon...to my amazement,i didn't like it the smell or the puffs...do i still class as week three or do i have to go back to week one as a very bad girl...? awwwwwwwwwwww i'm having a bad night..

Hya, don't feel bad about having a few puffs, I think quite a few on here have done that, I did after a week, i was the same as you, didn't like the smell or taste and all I could think about was all that horrible smoke going down my lungs!!!

Don't go back to day one, carry on and remember how you felt when you had that ciggie, its really tough especially when you have a row with your husband or boyfriend, sorry meant to say ex husband, they are the worse kind!!! lol

Keep up with your quit, you are doing great! x

I agree with Della, Shorts - just a wee blip. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself down and carry on where you left off.

However, ermmmm, where did you get the cigarette to puff on? :rolleyes: If you have a stash, I would seriously suggest disposing of them. I just posted a thread - I found a stash in my car and the very thought of them being there was driving me nuts! :eek:

There again, we're all different I suppose - some people prefer to have a cigarette lying around so they can swear at it now and again lol

I did the same thing under the influence of alcohol - a few drags on a friends ciggie. "I won't tell anyone" he said. Just put it down as a blip. I actually had less inclination the to smoke the next day as I had no recollection of whether I enjoyed it or not - all I know was I was chuffing freezing and wanted to go back indoors. I think i was sick in the street after but this may or may not have had anything to do with the cigarette.

Sorry for no reply till now,been in a right tizz,but alas thank you so much for the reassuring words you have sent me....still feeling guilty but not as bad as i did on the night,and reading your messages was a real comfort,dont really know what to do when the ex starts threatening me once again...maybe just go and comfort eat,big tub of ice cream huge bag of dorittos hmmmm big bar of cadburys choclate,getting the drift????

oh oh oh,nearly forgot,how i got that crafty fag,well i have had a secret hiding place with a box, (i know i'm a squirrel) if ever i got to the stage where the craving got so bad i knew there was an emergency supply...but now it's been open i've given them away...so no more fags in this house...part from that the smell and taste was revolting..

oh maddy,i promise to stay on the no smoking...was a strange feeling the other night,really cant see why i was smoking for 25years plus the smell and taste was disgusting...shall defo be a non smoker...no more hic cups....got my good head on,thinking straight thinking positive...no smoking!!!!
