YIPPEE, 1 month today folks I'm a happy camper lol.
I have had a few testing times along the way but with a lot of reading done, song singing in my head when I thought about smoking and encouragement from this board I have made it thus far. Still taking it a day at a time though, don't want to get complacent

Wished you well on the other thread but I'll do the same again here!
Well done on the 1 month mark. Isn't it great to feel that you are really progressing with your quit? One day, you'll be living your life WITHOUT ANY thoughts of cigs and how great will that be?!
I'd be at that point already if I didn't keep coming here lol
well done bob keep it up your soon be on 2 months like me in the morning ,i still get hard days but i just think that ive not smoked now for so long it would be a really stupid thing to start again as i think ive allready felt how bad it can possibly get and plus its easy on the good days.
Still taking the Champix OneMoreTry but there has been a few times I have forgot and don't really feel any different. I am going to keep taking them and try to finish the course. I don't want to jeopardise this quit in any way as I have never stopped for this long before and I feel great. I think the biggest change is that feeling of emptiness is gone. Not sure if that's the best way to describe it. You know the feeling you used to get just before you needed a cigarette?
Also the cough has gone and the bank balance is much better lol

Result! I love the fact I don't have that toe curling mucussy (sp?) cough anymore!
Although I am totally skint and beginning to wonder how I could ever afford to smoke 20 a day in the first place

Congrats again! :)Your so right Maddy with the progressing part. It feels strange telling people I have quit for over a month. When I say it reality suddenly kicks in and I think to myself "Well done you, massive part on the back" a bit sad I know but I'm really pleased with the way it's going
