Well, I am still here, not been on over the weekend and doing good.

My money pot is looking healthy as well as my lungs lol.

Is there only two of us from Team 17? Anyone there.....TEAM 17!!!!!

Still have occasional thought's but not too bad, getting better but still having freaky dreams!

Seriously, busting - out - of -the -seams -happy that we have gotten this far! Apart from the odd 'trigger' or (now much less intense) 'crave', i've been dandy.

It's all been worth it when you can actually run somewhere for the first time in ten years and not feel like your chest will explode and you're about to puke up your heart from sheer exertion!

Next Monday is a full four weeks. Yippeeeeeeeeee

Still here, and still smoke free! Been busy of late, so haven't had much time to come in here. Anyway...well done to everyone. As wkd fairy points out...4 weeks on Monday! How fantastic is that? Actually I feel quite pleased with myself, and it's not often that happens!

Anyway, team 17 is still alive and kicking!

Wayhay, glad to hear Alan is ok, well done mate. Three of us now, anyone else from Team 17? Yeah, 1 month on Monday, I'm actually a typical tight Yorkshireman and counting my pounds instead of pennies. So far saved £105!!! By Monday it will be £140.... Anyway, my last group session tonight where they give me my final tablets for the rest of the course (12 weeks) , the group I go to have been very helpful a this is my first real attempt to stop in 20 years. Health benefits are I'm not wheezing, coughing s*** up and smelling of smoke. Anyway enough of waffling - can you tell I have had my first coffee?! lol Enjoy ur day.

How long did your group run for? I joined a group and the first session was last week and it runs for just 7 weeks. I wish it was longer but unless I do something drastic to force them to carry on with the sessions, theres not alot I can do lol

Next week we've got a 'ceremony' hahah Got to take an old smoking item and ceremoniously dump it in the bin! Great stuff! lol

Hi Maddy

The group lasts for 7 weeks, however she has said we can go for more if we want too. What I'm trying to say is, she said we can go anytime if we want and call her on her mobile. As the sessions continue, your person doing it may say the same. Keep going, it really does get better, I'm on champix and doing ok. Still get the occasional urge, but it passes. There was a video posted which I recommend you watch, opened my eyes and gave me added incentice.

Still Here And Smoke Free

Hi Gang

Went away to London for a few days which was really good fun!

One of the first things I noticed was all the smokers lighting up as soon as they were out of the station, ha ha I thought, I used to do that!!!

Still get a few urges but few and far between, its so weird, was with another no smoking friend today she has given up for 5 months and we both agreed that we still occasionally want one but wouldn't smoke one, how weird is that, or is it just us that are weird!!!!
