How are we all doing?! Most of us have been off the cigs now for 3+ days and we haven't had a round up for a couple of days so thought it would be nice to get an update on this thread of how well everyone is doing
Hey, Team FM...: How are we all doing?! Most... - No Smoking Day
Hey, Team FM...
Yes im ok, not looking forward to the weekend though as may spend the whole time craving!! plus got a big night out tomorrow!!
Odin is giving me the power to say no
I am still going strong, looking at it not as a sacrifice quit, but more of a blessing now, and think i'm going to have pity for smokers soon enough. 7th day, tomorrow is the first day for me out of hell week, and i'm stoked. I have read somewhere that 3 weeks and physical addiction is fully gone... so two more weeks to go until its just in my head i guess, congrats to you all, wicked awesome progress, just think how many smokeheads are jealous of us all right now lol

Day 12 today and i have to say im feeling great, each day its getting easier. Got offered a cigg this morning, my first offer since quiting and i cant tell you how good it was for me to say "No thanks I dont smoke". The person continued to light up and throughout the smoke i could tell they were not enjoying it one bit. Talk about motivation !!!
Well done all, im so chuffed that everyone on here is achieving !!! i cant begin to explain how helpful this site is in providing much needed support.
Enjoy............
Hi all,
Glad its got easier for you manolo. Not to say that it is all going to remain easy but for now at least.
I must admit, the thought of smoking a cig now would be absolute bliss!! mmmmmmmmmmm I wannnnnnnt one! I'm not about to ruin the last few days and put myself through it all again though. Mind, maybe just a few today and tonight will be ok...you think? Darnit but I can't, 'cos then I'll have to go the few days again to get nicotine free again wouldn't I? Or maybe if I just had one? Two max?
Or maybe I should just commit myself to being a smoker because I do enjoy smoking (mostly). Or is that just the addiction yanking me in? Telling me I enjoy smoking? lol I don't know. But if so, then its like there's this other 'thing' living inside of me, co-existing alongside 'me' telling me I love something when I have no say in the matter....weird.
No I don't want a fag. I don't. I just think I do...big difference
Keep going everyone!!!!!
oops, that should have read 'meeru' in my first sentence
Yep, nearly finished my 5th day, feel more positive now
ditto... well done all of you, the 1st week is the hardest..
things will definately improve from here-on-in
keep up the good work all !!

Hey. Day 5 for me. Yesterday was really hard, kept thinking 1 won't hurt! didn't give in though
Is anyone else finding that they are going a bit ditzy? i really seem a bit dim at the moment lol. Have also felt really quite ill, going really cold and shakey, guess that be because i was smoking so many before.

Hi louise. I know what you mean with the 'one won't hurt' thing  Booger isn't it?!
As for not feeling 'right', I suppose thats normal. Most people on here go through 'something', so I've read. My concentration has gone to pot. Seriously, sometimes I feel like I'm on planet nu-nu lol (whatever planet nu-nu is!).
Stick with it though and you are well on your way to going a whole WEEK! Woo Hoo!
What, planet nu-nu? LOL
Did wonder who the mad guy was!...moondancin'...mexican wave...breakdancing even!! :D
Hi All,
Its the start of my 7th day today. I know what you mean maddy/louise, my concentration levels are 0%, and i'm more clumsy than usual.
But...hopefully, after the first week (i.e. today) it will be easier. I bought myself some perfume yesterday with money saved from not smoking, and am going out tonight, so will use the rest of it on that. I think we are going out anyway!
Well done though guys!
way to go kim! Good job, and don't worry, i can't concentrate worth poo either, breaking things, stumbling, getting my auto stuck in the snow and all haha... but at least i could breathe while shovelling it out eh, lol... proud of you, welcome to week 2!
How are Team FM tonight then?!

Hi James,
Did the cigs start to turn on you before your quit date with champix, or did you still smoke to the end.
Wonderful!!
Got this internet connection in my room so still gaining strength from Team FM. Gaining strength from watching all my pals rushing out to the cold and wind to have a fag between sessions of the conference. I was always first out. Now, I stay in the warmth.
I have to say that all cravings for nicotine or for a cigarette left me after the Hypnotherapy on Friday. I'd been struggling with cravings and thoughts of "just one" until my session!
In five minutes I'll have done a week! Thank you all!
