Just found a site and thought I would copy in these 3 facts that I did not know.

"Smoking kills almost six times as many people as road and other accidents, suicide, murder, manslaughter, poisoning, overdoses and HIV put together!"

"Approximately half of all smokers will ultimately be killed by their habit".

"67% of current smokers would like to quit" (It can't be that nice then can it)

Kind of helps to reitterate why we are all trying so hard not to smoke.

Does anyone else know of any clever/unusual facts that help remind us of why we are now no smokers???

In some ways I'm surprised that that 67% isn't higher. But then I suppose some smokers will never admit that don't enjoy it as then they would have to think about stopping and it does seem soooo hard before you get going.

Exactly my thought - it has been the most helpful fact I have heard - if so many smokers want to quit, there is no point in going back to it!!

A girl my office said I looked a lot healthier recently, those things make you feel good when you hear it!
