Hi to everyone, welcome to all newbies to month2 paaarrrtttyyyy time

day35 and another day closer, still very tired thought id stay up late last night so went to bed at 9.45 and i was so tired when the alarm went of at 5 this morning but forced myself to get up, i was fine once i got to the gym had a good session on the weights and i stayed clear of the scales after yesterday i am not going to weigh myself again its to depressing.

I have had to order some larger jeans today, back in 0ct06 i was a 44" waist got it down to 38" June07 and my 38" jeans i bought and have been wearing are now "a little bit snug" so i had to order a pair of 40" this morning.

Still as i said on another post earlier better to be a live fat b*stard than a dead smoker. I do feel great in myself less stressed, more relaxed calmer i dont smell like an old ashtray and i can breathe properly without wheezing i can fully understand why non smokers say its the best thing they have ever done, and with the help of the Champix and you wonderful people on this forum am still determined never to smoke again.

Well done!!

Don't be scared of the scales, if you are training with weights you will be gaining positive bodymass i.e. Muscle anyway.

And we all know muscle weighs more than fat, so the chances are you will get smaller, but actually heavier!

A tad snug indeed Andy, however, you are far away from the original October 06 weight you had when you did smoke!!

I am dreading the scales at the mo hehehe I haven't been to the gym in 2 weeks and won't get to go for another 4 because of the kids  reckon running around after them will probably keep me fit anyway :D hehehe

Hello all

Lets get fat together, then when we completed our courses of nrt champix and are confirmed non smokers we will have to start a fat bastards forum so we can loose all the weight we have put on.

Heeellllllooooooooooo Buffy nice to hear from hope you are you having a peaceful day with your darling angels today,if they are trying your patience and you feel like murder and if they take you to court then plead deminished responsability because of the nic demon and youll probably get community service lol:D

Rahhhhhh hehe.

I'm great thanks Buffy. How art thou? Where are my 1st July quit buddies?

I'm still going fine! I lit 1 cigarette about a week ago when my nerves were on turbo and it came very close to making me physically sick. Needless to say I didn't smoke it :p
