Well done, 2 days over and done with.

Now in my 3rd week, cold turkey, and I am still hanging in there.

Just take it one hour and one day at a time. Let no-one tell you it is easy BUT day by day it does get easier. However keep telling yourself why you gave up and as everybody says think of or do something else to distract your mind.

Great support here so just hang in!

Hang in there Jacque, it will get easier, take each hour and each day as a great acheivement. We are all rooting for everyone else here. Keep smoke free, as Buffy says go for walk, scrub the floors, paint the walls, keep your mind and hands busy, as you can see I am keeping mine busy by typing this to you.

Hi jacque my advice is what my dad gave to me when I quit as he has been quit for many years now, dont think in the long run what will happen just take it half an hour at a time.
