Hi Alison Well done on your 13 days. My partner is on 10 days to day he has had one nose bleed and have never had them before so maybe some do have them. Keep up the good work Love Linda
Hello Katie x x welcome x x
Bless your dad x x
I do hope that the cause is found and all is well x x
I have heard of nose bleeds in other quits too i mean different methods. I wonder if it is a general quit relation rather than champix?
Rest up and relax x x

Katie, hope dad okay now, I have suffered nose bleeds since stopping, don't usually though, they are not very severe, I think quite a few people suffer them, its our bodies, changing, hairs back in nose etc (yuk) doing the job they are meant too. Good luck

Yep. I've had a nose bleed too. The morning after my 1st bike ride. I woke up with a very blocked nose, so blew it and bosh, blood everywhere. I was on patches for 7 days, now cold turkey.
hi there
i too have experienced some bleeding from one nostril. (buffy let me know about your post) my hubbie gave up smoking for the final time last year and he has since suffered some severe nasal problems. (sinus infections causing throat problems too) he had a visit to dr again just the other day as his throat was playing him up, dr said its come from sinus area again and it is very common for people that give up smoking to start suffering with problems like this especially nasal. there more suceptable now as there clear and working properly so it just makes them more sensitive to infection. an xray revealed a mass on his mucas membranes so he is waiting for a ct scan of the sinuses. NOT a reason to take up smoking again though because although giving up is not without its problems, continuing gaurentees many more problems to come! i hope your dad is better now.
I am coming up to 2 weeks No Smoking,I am not getting Nose bleeds, but when I clear my Nose,I have some blood in what I am clearing. Most of it is Dark Dry Blood.I will mention this when I go see the Nurse at the Doctors. But I would think it's the start of the healing process, and both my nosterals are pretty clear to breathe now
Welcome to our community bonoman99 and congratulations on almost 2 weeks smoke free, that is great. Yes, as you mentioned, the light blood is likely to be the blood circulation returning to normal.
