I was diagnosed in April 2014, I did one year of chemo and two years of mtce. The doctor said if it doesn't comeback in 2018 it will not come back. I feel so weak at times I am just wondering if this is the norm and if I will ever feel myself again. I still work but just dragging. Is there any supplements I can take, I take Geritol which is Vitamin B and also Calcium and Vitamin C. I just want to feel strong, my appetite not all that great

Hi Whitely55. Have you had your vitamin D levels checked? I have read that chemo can deplete it. If your GP doesn't see the need, you can get a private test for appr 30.00 sterling. It's not recommended to take vitamin d unless you are tested and get a recommendation on the dosage which is right for you.
Make sure you are eating high nutrient plant based meals. Have your thyroid levels checked. Make sure you are sleeping well, exercising, drinking purified water. "Happiness in a Storm" by Wendy Schlessel Harpham MD is a great book to read about how a doctor is thriving with NHL. Be loving and kind to yourself. It takes time to start healing and feeling better after treatment.
Hi- I really suffered with tiredness and am still on maintenance but since I have started the Ketogenic diet and am taking the approved supplements I have much more energy and feel great. An amazing change. I bought a book called the Ketogenic Bible and did what it told me to do. It was hard to do at first but much easier now.
First off, we are all with you! I echo all of what was said. The fatigue is the worst. It's so hard to get out of it. That being said working with a nutritionist who understands cancer is so helpful. I found eating well, sleeping well, and exercising helped me the very best. Also prioritizing the day. I'd do what "had" to be done and cut myself some slack on the rest. I'm currently 10 weeks post- treatment and feel really good. If I feel like I just have to sleep I just do even if that means sleeping in the car. Be well.
