Pain on my right side

foreverthankfull26 profile image

Hi so I had my transplant 6 years ago and over the past three months I’ve been working out. I have a trainer. I lift weights, cardio on a treadmill, and boxing. I started feeling pain on my right side not sure what to think little worried. My doctor recommended that I see a general surgeon.

I would call your transplant team immediately for an appointment and simultaneously get your GP to book whatever they recommend.

Definitely let your transplant team know! I was having pain over my transplant area. My transplant coordinator ordered an abdominal MRI for me. They found I had an incisional hernia. I needed surgery to have it repaired, not once, but twice. I am not saying you have the same thing, because we are all different, BUT...Before starting any type of exercise routine, you really should have it OK'd by your nephrologist
