My Testimony

Hello all, I had been on dialysis for 6 1/2 years before being blessed with a Kidney Transplants on July 8, 2015. My kidneys shut down from FSGS which means that something inside my kidney attacked itself and caused them to shut down. This is how my doctors explained it to me. I have no history of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol which is why I was shocked to find out at the age of 27 I was going on dialysis. While on dialysis I continued to work full-time while doing my treatments at 5am before going to work. Not only was I blessed to receive a kidney transplant in 2015, I was also blessed to get pregnant in 2014. I continued to work full-time until my doctors put me on bed rest. During my pregnancy I went from doing dialysis 3 times a week to 6 times a week the entire time. My husband and I were blessed with a healthy baby girl in January 2015 and exactly 6 six months later I was blessed with my kidney transplant. Just had a doctors appointment on last Friday and I'm doing thanks be to God. Don't mean to be religious but I had to share my testimony and given my God All The Glory Honor and Praise!!!!!!!!

, while we can do certain things to enhance the outcome (diet, exercise, etc.), ultimately God is in control. All Glory be to Him. Have you ever traveled/vacationed while on hemo?

I went to San Antonio and did my treatment while down there. I contacted a Fresenius dialysis clinic close to the hotel and informed my social worker. She sent my chart and numbers to that location.
