best protein bar

I dislike the shakes and chocolatey bars myself. Recently, I've tried Isopure Infusions powder ( a clear drink, although a bit of foam does form on the top) which has been Much more palatable for me. I've been drinking the berry flavor. I get it at Target.
Walmart or Target: Palatable bars shelf stable bars have been elusive for me. I have found Chobani Protein drink and Chobani Complete (25 grams protein) drinks to be all right. May be in the snack cheese section. Also, in the refrigerated section are some other protein snacks. The only one I've found edible so far is a product called Clio: 8 very small yogurt bars wrapped in chocolate ( yes, I know...4 grams of protein for each tiny bar though!).
Another refrigerated product with 25 grams of protein is in the yogurt section is called Ratio Snack, it's enriched milk. About the size of a regular yogurt cup.
I hope you find something that works for you! 😋☺️

Zone bars or Cliff bars are what my nephrologist and dietitian recommend as best for dialysis patients. It's really down to preference of taste etc.
My dialysis team furnishes me with Zone bars 14%protein. I like the chocolate covered but they do come in different flavors. Special K high protein bars come in a strawberry bar that is yogurt covered. The brand THINK has a 40% Protein bar that is Lemon. There is also a grape flavored protein drink. I can’t remember who makes it. If you go to a pharmacy that carries food supplements for people that have had gastric bypass surgery you will find soups & various other foods. Just watch the sodium, potassium & phosphate ingredients. Have fun shopping!
