Hi: I was wondering if anyone tried Jardiance for Ckd. My husband has ckd but he is not diabetic. his nephrologist prescribed jardiance in February. His creatinine went down and Gfr increased from 41to 46 in less than 3 months of taking it.

It sounds familiar but I do not believe that I have taken it I was on a different medication to control my creatinine but have to look for it to see what the exact name was

There is a study looking into this that should end on 2022. Meanwhile. I believe that the FDA gave temporary approval for its use with CKD last year.
