Exercise?

Start with walking and stretching, and build from there, eat low fat foods as well.

Walking is one of the best exercises. I started by walking around my block . Pretty soon it was 2x around the block and then expanding my walk. If you worry about your balance take a cane or a walking stick with you.
Good luck and take care!

I've recommended this before, since it's one I've used. Go to rsn.org and look for the tab to online support group. That will let you sign up for the exercise group sessions on Zoom. The instructor is very good in helping people with balance, stretching and cardio exercises and adapting the exercises to individual needs. The sessions are every Monday to Thursday at 7 to 7:30 pm Eastern time, earlier in the other time zones.

I'm recovering from a femoral neck fracture and a partial hip replacement now, so if you walk with two hiking sticks it gives you better balance than with a cane ( plus you walk more erectly). Also you can walk further using a rollator ( a walker with 4 wheels and a seat). And you can do exercises like marching in place, side kicks, back leg kicks, etc. while holding onto a counter or the back of a chair. Physical therapy rocks!
I was just wanting to post about this today. The one good thing about COVID is that there are all kinds of exercise and dance classes on line, free. I have not been exercising since I got back from a vigorous vacation. One doc told me to walk more, but that was not doing it. I had been taking a special free program for people in treatment for cancer at a YMCA in NYC. Those classes did not go online when the Y shut down, but I discovered many classes "for seniors" online. There are chair exercises for strength, cardio, yoga, etc. The one I take is "Better Balance by Janice." It is a good work out, with stretches. Some can't be done without good balance, but she always offers modifications. They are recorded, so you can take them anytime. You can google YMCA to find them.
Thanks
The Y 360 videos I told you about were shut down. Just a few less interesting exercise videos left. I have now found "Move for Life." These are live classes especially for people with cancer, and recovering from cancer. There is one a week especially for people with mbc. (It is pretty similar to the others.)
