This is more for professionals but perhaps you will find it helpful: advancedrenaleducation.com/...

I would strongly suggest you talk with your healthcare team about your concerns. Over time, the way your peritoneum transports (removes fluid and toxins) may change. Your doctor or PD nurse can help you understand more about how your treatment works and can further discuss any changes you are noticing.

That is definitely something u should ask ur nephrologist because everyone follows a certain prescription for.what color to use according to your weight increases. The yellow bag is kind of like the weakest bag and it won't pull off alot of fluid, the green bag is the normal strength bag, which is what's mostly used again according to ur weight and the.red bag is the strongest bag and it pulls off the most fluid...so to keep track of ur weight before treatment and weighing again right after treatment shows how much you pulled. It helps know what bag to use. Not using the right bags can catch.up with you. I wish u well with this, but please contact nephrologist/nurse, cause what I gave u was according to my experiences and everyone is different. Wish u well.
