I am rather new to dialysis, do I have to be on dialysis forever?

i am diaysis from 18 years thanks allah i am fine

Dialysis itself is not forever. The only other alternatives I'm aware of is a Kidney Transplant from either a cadaver or live donor or Palliative Care.

No!! Dialysis is NOT forever... U can always opt to get a kidney transplant... If u have someone in ur family that could be a match, they should get tested on ur behalf. Siblings. Parents. U also could be put on the list for a getting a cadaver kidney... Just know that life is not over cause u are on dialysis. There are positive options... Speak to ur doctor about ur options or about what u want for yourself... Wishing u the best
