My name is Willie (female) and this is my first post. I have been on dialysis since 2013. I have done in-center, PD, and currently home hemo. I feel home hemodialysis is the best way to receive my dialysis treatments because I feel so much better afterward, so normal. I am currently going through work-up for the transplant list.

Welcome. You seem to be very positive on the home hemodialysis. I've not there yet but I have looked into both PD and Home Hemo using the NxStage machine that I was told about. I would like to hear any positive and/or negative comments from you regarding anything and everything you have gone through on your dialysis.
Hi Willie, my name is Sandy (F), I'm new also. I'm so glad that you will be going through the work up for a kidney transplant. I wish you all the best, and hope that your work up goes well. I have been thinking about home dialysis. Do you dialyze every day? For how long each run? Does it take up a lot of room? Sorry about so many questions, but I bet you know a lot about it.
