Dermatitis seborreic

It most certainly is related to CKD. its called CKD-associated puritis. I have it. It's awful. It starts with an itch and then you noticed little bumps. Don't scratch them as it makes it worse. Lotions do not really help. I use Sarna. It has menthol in it which cools the itch. Gold Bond, same thing. However, it only gets worse. I found my answer was Gabapentin. Life safer. I only take 100 mgs at night, and it REALLY helps. I hope this will help you.
I itched something terrible and nothing helped until I had light therapy. It was a miracle for me! I did it for several months.
My husband is now eGFR 11. Fingers crossed it will stabilise at that for a while. He gets that crazy itch so I apply either castor oil with a few drops of Frankinsense, which is quite successful, or CBD oil if I can purchase some (very Expensive)and his Doctor prescribes hydrocortisone, which I alternate with the other two. Trying gabapentin again though didn’t seem effective for him previously. The first 3 are all reasonably effective for about 12 hours. Hope these suggestions are helpful.
