I am Stage 3a CKD and have intermittent “queasiness”. I use Ginger tablets which usually ease the uncomfortable feelings after one or two tablets. I use Ginger People “Ginger Rescue Chewable Tablets”. The Queasiness is triggered when I eat certain foods - so try keeping a food log and notice which foods you have eaten just before the nausea begins.

I have been using the Ginger tablets since 2017, and have not seen any negative changes in my eGFR. My eGFR has been fluctuating between 47 and 60 since 2008. I hope the ginger works for you as well as it works for me.

Best wishes to you,

I have three b also it’s a nausea feeling of like being pregnant or like seasickness. My dr prescribed Zofran I believe it does help I try to eat bland when feeling like that . And it could be dehydration too. Which is difficult when you’re nauseous. Try drinking like a shot glass size of water ever few minutes so it don’t overload tummy. Good luck best wishes.

I often wake up with nausea. I eat plain crackers or I might take zofran. The zofran works great.
