Does anyone have nausea when they try to eat? Has anyone developed a bad taste for coffee?

Many people in stage 5 said they are not on dialysis yet.

You are not Stage 5 your eGFR is 68. Why are you posting in this forum about dialysis and posting on the Dialysis Forum asking about dialysis? The people there believe you are on dialysis because you joined the forum and they didn't check your history. You are very insulting to those who are truly suffering.

Do you go on Cancer Forums and ask about Chemo when you don't have cancer?

Jeesh!

You are Stage 2 which is asymptomatic. Meaning it causes you NONE of any of the symptoms you keep posting about. They are all from something else which is either physical or mental.

I apologize if I clicked on dialysis. I always click on KD. I read several posts where they said they were stage 5 and not on dialysis yet and I asked what symptoms they have had. I mean no disrespect. Just trying to learn from other people.

Hi yes you are on the Kidney Disease chatroom, not the Kidney Dialysis so it's fine. Since your GFR is still over 60 I would just focus on keeping your kidneys healthy. Right now, dialysis doesn't seem to be a relevant issue for you because you are far from Stage 5. I myself did not even start dialysis until my GFR was down to 4. But please refer back to your physician for answers regarding your own health and which topics are relevant to your situation. I believe you have posted before about conversations you've already had with your PCP. Are you tracking the trajectory of your GFR? If it's steady at 60+ then take steps to stay healthy overall, besides just your kidneys if that's what your doctor is recommending. What symptoms are YOU experiencing? If you are curious about what a dialysis patient experiences, is it because you know someone on dialysis? You can also simply do a search on this forum for whatever specific topic interests you and read the conversations. At the very top of the page on the right hand side is a "Search HealthUnlocked" box. You may type in "dialysis symptoms" or whatever you'd like to learn more about. Many of the resources (links) others have shared are also great resources.

She did go into the Dialysis forum the other day. That is what I was referring to and she knows it. She had to specifically join that forum to post there otherwise she wouldn't have been able to make a post. Check her history of questions.
