So sorry to hear. Have you checked with your doctor about taking paxlovid?

Hope you feel better soon🙏

just make sure that they understand you have chronic kidney disease. You can’t take the full dose of Paxlovid. My doctor said he was ordering the reduced dosage but when my brother went to the pharmacy to pick it up for me there was an error and the full dosage was ready to pick up. Luckily the pharmacist caught it.

I can't take paxlovid because I'm on a statin which the documentation says. I actually feel better today. My fever is down, my headache is gone and my sore throat is just a sore throat, not agony. I haven't tested yet as I still have symptoms, but I think I'm on the road to recovery. Thanks for all your help and concern.

you might want to check with your doctor about further testing for Covid. My doctor told me don’t bother because it could linger and show positive for quite a while whereas my symptoms could be all gone and I was fine. My symptoms took a good week before they relented. Very glad that you’re feeling better.😊

Call your doctor and see if you can get one of the new antivirus meds that they have. Both my husband and I got it last year and she put me on Lagevrio (molnupiravir) immediately. It really saved us. I was stage 4-5 and he stage 3b.

Hi Catmommy 🤗

To be treated with paxlovid you must take within 4-5 days from first symptoms. My dad refused to go to the hospital for this treatment. He’s 93 and blind and stubborn. That foolish behavior sent to hospital for 1 month and nursing home for 3 months. He is very COVID damaged now. Barely clinging to life per is GP.

Please call ambulance now tell them you have COVID your temp etc. your life depends on this. My brother had it too got his IV treatments and came home 3 days later.

I prayed for you just now to beat COVID.

Take care and best wishes.

Love and prayers.

EJ. 🤗♥️🥰🙏🕊🌿🌸🦋

COVID is nothing fool with. You at least need to talk with your primary care doctor . Tell him your symptoms and how you are feeling.

Ask you Dr for an anti viral. I got molnupiravir since I have stage 4 CKD. Some folks have taken a lower dose of the other anti viral. It does help.
