HI Koofene, not uncommon for potassium to be an issue. Two things to do will help. First of all, check your medications. There are several blood pressure medications that raise potassium. Get you doctor to change them. The ones with "sartan" at the end are the biggest culprit but there are others. The next thing is to watch you food intake. No more bananas and citrus, melons, except watermelon is ok in small amounts, tomatoes and tomato products, and potatoes are all high potassium foods. Meats, turkey and chicken are also high in potassium but that's up to you if you want to cut them out. Cutting out red meat in general is best for the kidneys and small amounts of chicken and turkey are ok.

There is a lot of information out there on Google on what are high potassium foods. My rule of thumb is if I eat something high in potassium in one food, my next meal has no or little potassium foods. I do not eat many things that are high in potassium but I am used to it now.

The dizziness is something you want to run by the doctor. It could be multiple things and not something to ignore.
