hello everyone,

I have CKD Stage 3, no proteinuria but has microcalcifications on ultrasound. What does these microcalcifications mean?

I am not hypertensive but I am prediabetic.

Cause of CKD Stage 3 has not been found yet.

please ensure your Dr checked samples of calcium, vit d and parathyroid all from same blood draw to assess their relationships and levels which could indicate a problem with one or more of the three tiny parathyroid glands - hyperparathyroidism. This is not same as thyroid and if faulty takes too much calcium from bones placing it in parts of body it shouldn’t be in.
