Renal Stenosis
Cass, I am sorry a doctor has told you something like there is no treatment. I would seek a second opinion immediately. Seems to me, and I am not a doctor, that there should be something such as dialysis to help you. Please, find another doctor. Don't let anyone dismiss you because of your age.
Oh my! I'm in complete agreement with Bassetmommer. I find your doctor's comment very unsettling, and I know I would look for another doctor immediately. Many people in their 70s and 80s receive treatment for kidney issues, including dialysis, well into their 80s. Some even manage to receive a transplant in their 70s. My husband is one of them. While doctors can make suggestions, it's your decision to decide how you wish to live your senior years but only after you see and review all options. We care...hugs!
