Hello,

Can ckd make you feel dizzy/lightheaded? Seems to happen when I am wearing my mask but read online that wearing a mask isn't supposed to make you feel that way. Thank you

Best to contact your Doctor to determine if could be related to Kidney disease and get a treatment plan for you. I did have dizzy/ light headedness before diagnosed with CKD and put on a CKD diet. Do not know if caused by CKD or other medical condition.

I've had CKD for 27 years and only felt that way one time. I found out that it was caused by antihistamine use.

Hi Yankees28, I agree with orangecity41, you need to talk to your doctor and have them evaluate you.

But some of my thoughts are could your blood pressure be low, are you on any blood pressure medications, anemic, diabetic (low blood sugar) or dehydrated?

I have lightheadness but I already had orthostatic hypotension, so I have no idea if any of the lightheadness is directly related to my CKD.

Ask your Dr but I can not breathe with mask on ....I am CKD 3a and due to some almost to black out dizzy spells seeing cardiologist now getting lots of testing done....kidney and heart all related.
