Hello - thank you for all your kind posts reassuring me that I will be okay. Problem is I do not get to see the nephrologist until the 28th of March and every day is like living in hell because of waiting. I am not sure what he will recommend for me but the biopsy was mentioned unless a cause could be found from my blood tests - I try to divert my mind to other things but this is all consuming. I think I have read everything going on google and wish I hadn't. Its awful trying to cope with the fact that 4 weeks ago I was a functioning human and it has all changed in the blink of an eye because of this and now I shake from top to toe I am always cold and my appetite has gone south. Its always worse at night because I do not sleep well. At least I am now getting some good blood sugar readings - I am on insulin - it is fear of the unknown with me but I really enjoy reading all the posts. Thanks.
Kidney Biopsy: Hello - thank you for all your... - Kidney Disease
Kidney Biopsy
Take a deep breath... in and out. Repeat. Instead of all the bad things, think about all the good things.
Yes, Jodaer has great advice. Also keep a strong hold on your diabetes. There's generally an underlying reason for kidney decline and it's often T2D. So very glad to hear you're working with it and see some improvement. In the meantime, remember "Yesterday is gone, tomorrow isn't promised, so today is the most important day of your life". Live it happily and with purpose. Please don't suffer now for what may never happen. Blessings.
Educate yourself. Knowing is power. You will learn to live with this....the drs. will help and a good support system is good as well. I am in stage 4 kidney failure , have had the biopt, this past Aug. it showed diabetic neropathy . It was about two years ago now for me to reach this stage.
There are options for you to discuss with your dr.
I hope you have a good day my dear, and take care..
God bless
