Can someone give me an advise on what to eat with CKD 3a?

Can someone give me an advise on what to eat with CKD 3a? Although the report showed my number was 3a, but lately whenever I ate something, after awhile I got sooo tired. Although I never experienced stage 4 or so but it felt like stage 4 to me. Anyone can recommend me what to eat without feeling this fatigue? Thank you.

Have you asked your dietitian about a CKD diet or if on a prescribed CKD diet, , request if a change in diet is possible for your fatigue.

Hi, I asked my Dr. for a referral to a renal dietician. They can really help you after taking all of your health issues into account. What you eat depends on if you also have Type2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, or other problems. A diet is individualized for each patient. A vegetarian diet is often recommended but not necessary. Watch your protein and sodium intake. Get professional advice from a renal dietician, good luck.

Just go plant based and you will feel better. Then after about two weeks, you will only want to eat clean.

At stage 3b I was always feeling very tired after eating. That has improved significantly since going vegetarian.

I used to get the same before I was diagnosed with CKD 3b. It's a horrible feeling, and often would happen if I went out for a meal. When it did I would just want to get home and go to bed. It made me feel irritable and I couldn't think straight. At the time I thought I must be intolerant to something but couldn't work out what.Since going plant based it has stopped I think it was protein and sugar overload.
