A lot of what you are asking about is dependent on the individual and any underlying health conditions. The leading causes of Kidney Disease are hypertension and diabetes. There are others. That’sa good article referenced there. In addition though, I’d say that I had a gentle discomfort much of the time. I’ve maintained much better hydration recently and cut out processed foods and all animal foods , though not totally necessary, that’s stopped the ache which was on both flanks and changed my blood results for the better too. Everyone’s different. Hopefully you have a doctor who’s interested and can help you.
