Im 3 months post transplant and my creatinine is still a bit on the high side (155). The lowest it has been was 128.
My doctor said if it stays on 155 we will do a biopsy as the results should be better because it is a live doner. And it has already come down to 128 once.
On the 5th week post transplant i started to do some joggings and sprints. The next result my creatine went flying up to 160 then 170 then 188. Then it suddenly came back to 155 and it has stayed there for over a month now. Im really worried that ive damaged abit of my kidney when i did some intensive sprinting that week.
Can intensive sprinting and jogs damage my kidney?

Hi, Im not a doctor. However it sounds strange to me you could create a permanent damage only because of intensive exercise. It could maybe increase your level in short terms but not permanently. Kidney biopsy it's most secure way to know underlying cause and normally it's a secure short surgery. But imagine being transplanted you know this better than me. All the best
Thanks for the reply, yes i think biopsy is the only way to find out. The thing that worries me aswell is, there is always foam or bubbles in my urine. I have told the doctors many times about it but they say we cant see anything wrong in your urine. I just have to wait until my next appointment which is nex week and hope for the best.
Guess you should regularly have 24h urine proteinuria test. Maybe you know already but it's normal to have bubbles when you pee. Point is how much they are and long they stay. There are some good examples on YouTube.
