I didn't want to post a new article but no one else has posted this already. When I use the restroom I notice that my urine is too clear, almost like tap water. Normal urine should have some color. I have taken blood test but everything is normal. I have spoken to doctors but they ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS tell me that if my urine is clear, it means I drank too much water. I can literally go an entire day during the summer without drinking any liquid and be very thirsty, and my urine is still clear. I have researched for years on the internet but nothing. I have seen posts from people asking the same question, but with no helpful responses other than "You drink too much water..!". I don't doubt that a healthy person who drinks an excess of water will produce lots of clear urine for a while until the person stops drinking excessive amounts of water. Why any doctor would think I cannot figure this out on my own is beyond me. While I realize my condition is basically unknown to the medical community, I do want to ask if anybody else is experiencing this same condition, and even better, if anyone has any insight as to how to resolve it. Please no posts about me drinking too much water. I could try to kill myself by dehydration and my urine would still be clear.

Urine too clear
You could request a 24 hr Urine test. You collect your urine in a container, they can test it to make sure your kidneys are removing waste correctly regardless of the volume of water you drink.
Thanks.
As Matt said, a 24-hour urine catch is probably the best idea. It will tell you how much volume you put out in a 24 hour period, as well as electrolyte levels (potassium, calcium, etc), as well as Ph; and can help you make any adjustments, if necessary. It shows lots of things a blood test won't. I do think it's unusual that your urine is clear so often, but clear urine is supposed to be an indicator that the kidneys are doing a good job!
As others have suggested , ask your doctor to order a 24-Hour Urine Test. It checks on the volume of your urine and also if your kidneys are working to remove wastes. If your blood work is normal - creatinine, eGFR, potassium, etc. and your 24 hour urine is normal, I would say you have nothing to worry about. Now if your urine was cloudy all the time, I would worry. Clear urine is a GOOD thing.
Take care.
