I had a member send me a message that if I called them they could probably get me a kidney. This made me very uneasy. I asked how I was supposed to call them? They said by using (chat, I presumed) when I had more time. I am not sure if this is someone that is going to try to sell me a kidney or what but it just seemed strange. Any thoughts???

It not only sounds bogus but add illegal to the mix.
Just forget it for now and enjoy the holiday.
Avoid it, and any similar posts, with a barge pole.
I also had one member soliciting proposal for kidney donation in similar manner. I think it should be reported to admin promptly.
I would avoid all contact with this person and you probably should get in touch with the site administration.
They just apoligized so I will leave it alone. Don't want or need any trouble. Take care everyone!!! 🙏🙏🙏
They'd probably send you a dog kidney.
The problem is people like that get on this site and give people false hopes - a new kidney. It is illegal in the US to sell a kidney. I think it's also a crime to give CKD patients false hope!
HealthUnlocked has problems on weekends and Holidays because the site is not monitored like during the week. As others have said, you need to report this person to the administrator's.
I completely agree. The next person who gets that type of message may be in such a place that they get involved and it may cost them dearly. Please report the post and it's owner to an administrator.
I would definitely report this to the forum administrator. If the person persists I always tell them that if they would like to donate a kidney they should contact the local transplant center to get information regarding how to proceed.

That’s someone who is playing on your fears and insecurities. When it comes to these messages you are best to ignore them. I was taught a saying when I was young which is “ There is no such thing as a free lunch” and I live by that. There is always a catch somewhere. Just be so careful is all I can advise xxx
there are scammers all over the internet . if it sounds bogus or phony it probably is.......
Hi Vriggin24,
Leave these bandits alone, trust consultants....criminals only want a quick buck at your expense !
