Does anyone know of a diet tracker other than the Davita one, that shows nutritional values for food by weight (ounces, grams, lb., etc.)? One thing that makes it difficult to be completely accurate with the Davita tracker, is that sometimes the measurements for a particular item are very difficult (if not impossible) to figure out. I would like to be able to measure out the ingredients I put in my omelet (mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc.), but the Davita tracker does those items by 'each'. Would be SO much easier to weigh the ingredients, and plug that info into a tracker.
Also, is there a way to adjust the goals for the sodium level? When I set up my tracker, 2,000 mg was all I could choose.

I like Eat this Much. I can find the levels for Phosphorus there better than anywhere else. The others are there too, but phosphorus levels are extremely hard to find.
For foods I eat repetitively, I set them up in creations. I also check anything new I eat as the amounts and measurements are as you say, inaccurate. Many times the sodium levels are way off and there is no potassium or phosphorous either. So I make them my own and look them up on various sites. I really do not vary my diet too much so after a while it gets easier.
I use an app called HealthWatch360. Its free and available for both iPhones and android phones.
It is connected directly to the USDA data base. So when you go to the store you can take pictures of bar codes for items you’re considering buying. The app will then pull up the full nutritional make-up of the item.
The app also tracks your total daily nutritional intake. You can also enter your own recipes into the app. It will give you nutritional data or serving.
This app has been a game changer for me. I now have real confidence regarding what I’m actually eating.
I use and love it to. The only issue is that members enter some of the information so it’s not always right. I make sure items I eat regularly that I check all the information then add them to my favorites so I know they are accurate.
I really like Chronometer. There is a basic free version that works for many, but if you use their pay version you can set targets for all your key nutrients (you pick them) and see them filling up as you eat. You also get web based reporting and can allow your doctors to have real time access. It is also recommended by a number if dietitians (such as those from KidneyRD). Here is a brief review of it with some screen shots: dadvicetv.com/kidney-nutrit...

There are trackers all over the internet. You can make a working list but I don't get bent out of shape over details. I just leave the salt shaker alone and read the labels in the store. Oh yeah, what is Davita's main source of income? Do you really think that they are interested in keeping you off dialysis? They have an unlimited market.
